  • CONTRAINDICATIONS:

    Never take IBUFENE in the following cases:

    • If you are already taking another medication that contains acetaminophen;

    • If you are taking another medication for pain relief, such as ibuprofen, high-dose aspirin (more than 75 mg per day), or any other nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID), including selective cyclooxygenase-2 (COX-2) inhibitors.

    • If you are allergic to ibuprofen, acetaminophen, or any of the ingredients in IBUFENE (see “COMPOSITION” section);

    • If you are allergic to aspirin or any other analgesic belonging to the class of nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs);

    • If you have or have ever had an ulcer, or bleeding from the stomach or intestines;

    • If you have heart, kidney, or liver failure;

    • If you are in the last three months of pregnancy;

    • If you are under 12 years of age.
