  • CONTRAINDICATIONS:

    If your doctor has told you that you have an intolerance to certain sugars, contact him or her before taking this medication. This medication is not recommended for patients with galactose intolerance, Lapp lactase deficiency, or glucose-galactose malabsorption (rare hereditary disorders).

    Never take FLUCOLENE:

    • If you are allergic (hypersensitive) to fluconazole, to other medications you have taken to treat fungal infections, or to any of the other ingredients in FLUCOLENE listed in the “COMPOSITION” section;

    • If you are taking astemizole or terfenadine (antihistamines used to treat allergies);

    • If you are taking cisapride (used to treat stomach upset);

    • If you are taking pimozide (used to treat mental disorders);

    • If you are taking quinidine (used to treat heart rhythm disorders);

    • If you are taking erythromycin (an antibiotic used to treat infections);

    • In children under 6 years of age, due to the dosage form.
