Treatment of erosive reflux esophagitis and excess stomach acid due to Zollinger-Ellison syndrome, continuation of treatment following intravenous prophylaxis against recurrent bleeding from a peptic ulcer

Contraindications
If your doctor has told you that you have an intolerance to some sugars, contact them before taking this medicine. Use of this medicine is not recommended in patients with fructose intolerance, glucose-galactose malabsorption syndrome, or sucrase-isomaltase deficiency (rare hereditary diseases). This medicine contains glycerol and may cause headaches and digestive problems (diarrhoea). This medicine contains small amounts of ethanol (alcohol)—less than 100 mg per capsule of microgranules—which evaporate during the manufacturing process.
Never take ACYPHINA:
• If you are allergic to esomeprazole or any of the other ingredients of this medicine (listed in the "COMPOSITION" section of the package leaflet).
• If you are allergic to another proton pump inhibitor.
• If you are taking a medicine containing nelfinavir (used to treat HIV).
If you have any doubts, or if any of the situations described above apply to you, talk to your doctor or pharmacist before taking ACYPHINA.
