Clomipramine hydrochloride
Treatment of depression, obsessive-compulsive disorder, and nocturnal enuresis

CONTRAINDICATIONS:
• You are allergic to clomipramine or any of the other ingredients in this medication (see the “COMPOSITION” section).
• You are at risk for angle-closure glaucoma (increased pressure inside the eye).
• You have recently had a heart attack.
• You have severe liver disease.
• You have a mental disorder other than depression, obsessions, or phobias.
• You have difficulty urinating.
• You are breastfeeding.
• You are under 18 years of age.
This medication SHOULD GENERALLY NOT BE USED in the following cases, unless otherwise advised by your doctor:
• In combination with alcohol or medications containing alcohol.
• If you are being treated with another antidepressant (moclobemide, toloxatone) or with medications that affect the cardiovascular system (clonidine, guanfacine, and—when administered by injection—adrenaline, norepinephrine, dopamine), or with linezolid (an antibiotic).
