Contraindications
- Hypersensitivity to nitazoxanide or any of the ingredients.
- Pregnancy and breastfeeding.
- Patients with liver, biliary, or kidney disease.
- Children under 2 years of age.
- The safety and efficacy of nitazoxanide have not been established in immunocompromised patients or those who are HIV-positive.
