  • CONTRAINDICATIONS

    Klaristat is contraindicated in patients with hypersensitivity to macrolides. It should not be prescribed to pregnant women without carefully evaluating the benefits and risks, particularly during the first 3 months of pregnancy. Klaristat is contraindicated in patients taking terfenadine who have preexisting cardiac conditions (arrhythmia, bradycardia, QT interval prolongation, ischemic heart disease, heart failure, etc.) or electrolyte imbalances.

    Concomitant administration of Klaristat with cisapride, astemizole, and terfenadine is contraindicated.
